Social Media

Welcome to our Social Media Map!
We like to do a lot of things on the web and so we decided to make this nifty map for you so that you don't get lost. Below you will find a list of our social media offerings and the kind of content we like to add to it.

Blogger
Our blog (The Sustainabilitree) is the best way for us to give a little more detail about the programs and activities we run on campus. We also like to just rant sometimes about some of the things we see. It is a collaborative blog so you might notice the occasional guest blogger and some cross-posts. Be sure to check the bottom of each post to see who was the author.

Facebook
Sustainable Campus uOttawa is the central hub for all our social media offerings. It is kind of like our messy closet of thoughts, ideas, information.... everything really. On the site you will find photos, videos, links to articles, and events related to the campus. When big events or announcements are made, we usually put that information on Facebook.

Flickr
We don't post all our photos on Facebook in order to keep things civil. Our Flickr page (Sustainable uOttawa) is the place where we put all the photos we take. Some are boring, some a re cool, we don't judge... we leave that to you. At the bottom of some of our web pages you can see our photo streams... or you could just go right to Flickr.

Foursquare
Our uOttawa Sustain account on Foursquare let's us show you how we are interacting with the campus. We like to leave tips around campus about sustainable features in different buildings. And of course, we have a couple of lists of things you can do to be more sustainable.

Green Map
Sometimes you just want to see all the Green things happening on campus. Our Green Campus map gives you a good idea about some of the sustainable things on and around campus. If you have any places you think that we should add, we are all ears.

Mail Chimp
Once a month we publish a newsletter filled to the brim with cool sustainability stuff. We tell you about sustainability links, programs, events, and programs for the coming month. If you are interested, you need only sign up. The newsletter comes with a very nice escape hatch so that bail anytime you want (no pressure).

Twitter
Out uOttawa Sustain Twitter page is a jumble of stereophonic information dispersal. We toss out a bunch of tweets about really sweet stuff on campus and generally awesome green stuff from around the world. We regularly have conversations with our followers and retweet all the things worth retweeting. But be warned, we are kind of all over the place.
